Aquaria is our tribute to the most mythologized overdrive ever built — a golden relic whispered about in forums, hoarded by collectors, and revered on countless boards. But this is no clone. It’s a resurrection. A rework. A respectful nod to the original centaur, with new legs, sharper teeth, and a glimmering tail that swims through clean boosts, cutting distortion, and sculpted tone-shaping.

We sourced a genuine Golden Klon to precisely match the heart of this circuit — the voicing, the feel, the subtle harmonic bloom — but we didn’t stop at replication. We expanded it.

While we set out to capture every nuance of the original’s sound, we didn’t stop there. The newly added Dynamics control lets you tailor the character of the clipping — blending between the smooth, compressed saturation of the "magic" germanium diodes and the higher-headroom, more dynamic bite of silicon diodes. Whether you crave warmth and bloom or articulate edge and punch, you’ll find your sweet spot in between.

Like its mythical ancestor, Aquaria’s gain structure blends in more clean signal as you turn the gain up — giving that unmistakable clarity and punch. But we’ve gone further:
A dedicated Clean Blend lets you mix in your dry signal independently, allowing for precision balancing, ultra-transparent drive, or dynamic parallel textures.

The Tone control keeps the soul of the original’s magical high-end contour, but with a refined and dramatically improved response curve — one that plays perfectly with single coils, humbuckers, synths, and whatever else you feed it.

Boost Circuit + 4-Band EQ

Hit the second footswitch and unlock a beautifully voiced active EQ with four hand-picked frequency bands, plus a separate Master Volume — letting you:

• Push mids for solos.
• Sculpt out flub for rhythm precision.
• Add sparkle to a dull amp.
• Or turn Aquaria into a precision standalone EQ pedal with or without gain engaged.

Use it as a second sonic identity, a mid-boosted lead tone, or a clean sculptor for your always-on foundation. The EQ is powerful but musical — as flexible as it is intuitive.
